Fifth, the Lord invited the people into a cooperative venture for the first time, in the creation of the tabernacle. God’s glory was first manifest in the beauty of the original creation, and then in the cloud, fire, manna, and mountain. God’s glory would now be accessible daily, since God would dwell in their midst as they moved, in the tabernacle through the clouds of presence. Finally, the purpose of Exodus was to create hope.
